Muhanga TTC offers a three-year Bachelor of Education degree across four specialisations, fully accredited by the Rwanda Higher Education Council and aligned with REB national teacher competency frameworks.

Duration: 3 years

Academic structure

Programme Structure

1

Year 1 — Foundations

Core education theory, introduction to specialisation, communication skills, ICT for teachers, Rwandan history and values, and first teaching observation visits to partner schools.

2

Year 2 — Specialisation

Deep study of specialisation content and pedagogy, curriculum design, classroom management, research methods, and a 6-week supervised teaching practice placement.

3

Year 3 — Mastery

Advanced specialisation, dissertation research, extended 12-week teaching practice, professional ethics, career readiness, and alumni community engagement.
